Description

A patent print poster of the original Barbie Doll invented and designed by John W. Ryan. The patent was issued by the United States Patent Office on November 21, 1961. Although Ruth Handler is credited with inventing Barbie, she redesigned the doll with help from engineer Jack Ryan who actually obtained the Patent. John W. "Jack" Ryan was an American designer noted for creating the popular image of the Barbie doll, Hot Wheels, Chatty Cathy and being the sixth husband of Zsa Zsa Gabor.

Patent prints allow you to have a piece of history in your home, office, man cave, geek den or anywhere you wish to add an interesting touch.
